Welcome to my site.

​I enjoy painting and look forward to time spent with brush in hand. The beginning of my painting process varies by day, sometimes with a sketch, or an idea, or even just an emotion I wish to communicate. My paintings are created using traditional oil paints and are supported by canvas or wood panels.

Influenced by surrealism, most of my artwork is expressionist in tone with varying degrees of abstraction. Seemingly ordinary forms serve dual lives, and loose brushwork and organic line direct the eye, always leading to a non-realistic end. My intent is to create an image that the viewer can journey into, something not seen in the ordinary day, leading each on a slightly different path dependent upon their own personal experience, beliefs and aspirations.
